They agreed on three months...but their love knew no boundaries.
Jack McLachlan is a winemaking magnate and easily one of Australia’s most eligible bachelors. His success and wealth makes him no stranger to the complications of romantic relationships and that’s why he goes to extreme measures to avoid the hassle. He prefers simplicity in the form of a beautiful female companion with no strings attached. He arranges relationships like business deals and they’re always the same. No long term relationships. No real names.
It’s his game and his rules. He’s content to play as usual, but when Laurelyn Prescott enters his life, his strategy must change because this player is like none he's ever encountered. His world is turned on its head after he begins a three month affair with the beautiful American musician. Nothing goes according to plan and as he breaks more and more of his own rules for her, she’s exceptionally close to becoming something he never thought possible. His ultimate game changer.

OMG, Jack McLachlan - I don't know what to say - he has blown me away. I've read so many books lately with the rich (usually billionaire) hot guy and young (usually non perfect) girl, but this book was just different from it all.

Laurelyn is traveling with her best friend Addison to Australia to visit Addison's brother for 3 months. It's just what she needs, a break from her life and away from men. Addison seems to have a different idea for Laurelyn though, she seems to be trying to set her up with her brother Ben, only Laurelyn isn't interested.

Jack, owner of several wineries and a very rich man, is out looking for the next woman to spend some time with him. He has strict rules on his "relationships" he only usually takes company for 3-4 weeks. He's up front and tells the women this, the agreement is that they get to be together for the specified time, he will make sure they have the time of their lives. They will not share personal details and not tell each other their real names and then when the specified time is over they will walk away and never look back. Jack has to do this, he doesn't want complications and he doesn't want people to know who he is. This time though he is looking for someone special, he is looking for someone for 3 months. Getting bored, with no one capturing his attention, he's about to leave the bar where an open mic night is on. As he's leaving she steps on stage and starts to sing. She captivates him and he's determined to meet her.

They meet, he tells her what he wants, the rules to his game and they agree to have this arrangement for the three months she's here. It's perfect - they both know what they are getting and in three months she will be leaving and will be miles away......... But rules can be broken right? And the game can change.

This book had me pretty quickly. It's told in alternative points of view, which I loved, because you got to know both characters well and got to feel the emotion they both felt. Laurelyn has her issues, but I felt they made her more interesting and were not the "norm". Jack is holy freaking hotness. although he can be possessive and aggressive he's actually is a lot softer, very charming and attentive (can you tell I'm in love ;-) ?)

I really didn't want to put it down and didn't want it to end. It is a cliff-hanger, but you do get the first chapter of the next book so it softens the blow. I really cannot wait for more of their story. An easy 5 stars :-)
