Seduced in the Dark
What is the price of redemption?
Rescued from sexual slavery by a mysterious Pakistani officer, Caleb carries the weight of a debt that must be paid in blood.
The road has been long and fraught with uncertainty, but for Caleb and Livvie, it’s all coming to an end.
Can he surrender the woman he loves for the sake of vengeance?
Or will he make the ultimate sacrifice?

When reading part one (Captive in the Dark) I went through hating Caleb to really liking
him, which I then felt very guilty about. But I wanted Livvie and Caleb to have
a happy ever after, I loved the fact that I honestly didn't know whether they'd
get it considering how their relationship started. I was eager to read part 2
And had to get up early this morning for it's release.
Wow, where to start? IMO this second book was much better than the first. The emotional roller coaster I went through was harsh. It was soooo much darker than the first. I loved the fact that you were flitting from the present to the past reliving Livvie's memories of the previous months. I loved the fact that you have to wait til very near the end of the book to discover what happened between Livvie and Caleb in the past and why he is not with her in the present but I hated this as well. It was driving me insane and I had to keep reading. As we relive what Livvie went through at times I hated Caleb, thought he was a pig and the last thing I wanted was for Livvie to forgive him. At times I felt pain, sorrow and humillation for what Livvie went through and devastation for their relationship. Other times when you could see that Caleb really did care, my heart melted for them. As frustrated as I was I still wanted a happy ever after for their relationship and then felt crazy for wanting that! See what I mean emotional roller coaster or what!! I snapped at my husband several times whilst reading the book as it was so intense I didn't want to stop reading when he was trying to talk to me lol
I liked the fact that there were new characters in the past with celia and Filipe and it was not just about Livvie and Caleb and in the present with Reed and Sloan although I did feel that something that went on with these two characters didn't really bring much to the book and seemed irrelevant to me, but that's just my opinion.
Fantastic, dark, deep intense book and one I don't think I am easily going to forget, I suspect it will be with me for a long time.
