This book is a very enjoyable light hearted romance which has its very sexy moments. It has a very good story line which is set around a feudal system still going strong in a village called Gold Valley. It is a village of goldsmiths as the name signifies and is protected as is the entire valley by a dragon by the name of Devon Bluewing. The Bluewings have been doing this for a millennia, and Devon is one of our main characters.

Devon is one very hot looking dragon, who loves being a playboy and has the money and the very sexy good looks to go with it, but disaster strikes when he is told at the meeting of his fellow dragon council members that if he is to remain as head of the council he has to marry and within the next three weeks. Now this doesn't sit well with Devon who is used to getting his own way in all things but he realizes that in this he must comply and choose a wife, and then something happens quite unexpectedly.

The other main character in the book is Gemma Teeley, a twenty seven year old daughter of one of the goldsmith families who live in Gold Valley. Gemma had left the village a number of years ago to have another life outside the valley but had found it lacking and couldn't settle anywhere so she had returned home to be with her parents, only to find that Devon’s latest decree of raising taxes would put the village into hardship and she was not going to let that happen if she had anything to do with it.

Gemma is a curvy woman, good looking and is sassy and smart, and is not one to stand aside if she sees a wrong being made and in her eyes what Devon has asked is one very big no no and has decided to go up to his mansion to have it out with him, and this is how these two first met. It is a battle of wills from the outset but the attraction between these two is there for them to feel and through the book you will read how it grows from strength to strength in a very sexy way.

With Gemma thinking that Devon is one very hot guy but still in the wrong and Devon having the biggest surprise of his life when he and his dragon realize that Gemma is...

“There is no doubt, it is her that he had been seeking.”

The story continues with Devon doing his very best to get the relationship and mutual attraction off to a good start but he has Gemma fighting him all the way which makes for a stimulating courtship. Slowly the attraction builds inside Gemma and when they finally got together it was scorching.

“Gemma reached up, kissing his neck and then his ear, catching his earlobe between her teeth. She sucked on it a little, and he moaned, rolling over on his back so she was on top. Gemma gasped, sinking even lower on his cock so the way he filled her was just on the very edge of intense pleasure and pain.”

But the story is not all about Devon and Gemma you will read of a certain person out to get Devon and using all means to bring him down which makes for a dramatic read.

I loved this book, Devon and Gemma are great characters and the story line is really good, and I can see this series being a hot number. Well done.
