Another marvellous story by author Felicity Heaton, and boy is it one very hot, erotic book as well. It has plenty going on to keep the interest running and you will want to keep reading just to see what happens next with Cait and Owen.

This book is about Owen a hunter for hire and Cait a Hellcat. Cait’s hellcat is one of the rarest cat shifters in the paranormal world. She is one of the devil’s own, dangerous and powerful, but she is also one of the most beautiful women around and sooo sensual.

Owen is one of the most successful hunters alive, coming from the most distinguished family of Nightingales although he is the last of the line. He is very good at what he does. People call him a mercenary but that doesn't worry him as long as he gets the job done.

The story begins when they meet up in the nightclub Underworld and Cait comes up to Owen and asks him if he is interested in a job. She has someone after her and she wants him gone from her life. When Cait comes face to face with Owen not only is she interested in hiring him but also she is overwhelmed in lust at the sight of him sitting there beside her, she wouldn't mind getting very hot and dirty with this very hot handsome man, something she hasn't felt in a very very long time.

The attraction is mutual and the dance of time begins with hot sexual innuendos going back and forth until it got to the stage that they had to act upon it.

“Owen slid his hand down her thighs to her backside and raised it off the bed. Her legs drifted down his arms as he leaned over her, catching on his elbows, and her hot gaze slid down the length of his torso, settling on his cock. It jerked again and she murmured the sexiest little moan he had ever heard.”

but apart from the sizzling lovemaking Owen has a job to do and he was making it his mission to get it done no matter how dangerous it might be, he had Cait to think about now. As for Cait she couldn't get enough of Owen which makes for a very erotic read between these two. Get ready to get very hot and bothered. Phew.

Their feelings run riot, but underneath it all there was something growing between them. Something solid that they both faced with trepidation totally unsure about the strength of these feelings.

"You've bewitched me too, Owen Nightingale... and I'm not sure there's a cure for how you make me feel... I'm not sure I would want it even if there was." She smiled when he lowered his head, leaning into her warm palm, stealing every drop of reassurance she was offering him. "I've never met a man like you... I've never met someone who makes me feel like you do."

She was the one he had been waiting for, his little kitty…

“Pressure built inside him, an unstoppable force that tore at his control. He ran his left hand over her sleek dark hair, twisted the black strands into his fist, and guided her downwards. Her eyes remained locked on his as she parted her lips and took him inside her mouth, the most erotic thing he had ever seen. He couldn't breathe as she took hold of his length in her right hand, clutching it tightly, and moved on him, taking him deep into her warm, wet mouth before shifting back, sucking as she withdrew.”

This story is hot, erotic and pacy. A book you have to read from cover to cover in one go. Loved the concept of this story.

The characters of Cait one very passionate lady who has to be careful in her sexual romps, and Owen one very hot male with a deep secret makes for one very enjoyable read. One of your best Ms Heaton.
