I have been following the Dark Protector series from day
one. This series never disappoints and these novellas are the same. Brilliant
story, passionate lovemaking, and very interesting characters.
This story is about Ginny, a witch, who was thrust into the
world of stealing by her father whom she loves very much. After a while she
started to enjoy the thrill it gave her and now all grown up she is quite the
accomplished thief. Only now an unsavoury character has her under his control
and has made her life for the last decade a misery.
Theo Reese, the other main character in this book is a very
accomplished vampire. Belonging to a prestigious family and has worked as a
soldier to his king in the wars with a fearsome reputation. Theo is one very
angry vampire. Ginny has had the audacity to steal a computer file from his
family which holds very delicate information and he must retrieve it at all
costs. He has been tailing Ginny from America to Great Britain and back again
and now that she is back in New York he is determined to track her down and get
the flash drive back.
Theo has known Ginny for centuries and back in the day he
had a real soft spot for her but now she has brought out the deadly predator in
him and she will see another side of him. Ginny knowing Theo never fell for her
helpless act has somehow managed to keep one step ahead of him but now being in
New York she knows it will all come to a head but she cannot let him have the
file back. It means life or death.
The story tells you of the highly sexual attraction that
these two have for each other. Even though they are enemies. But Theo finds out
it’s not a simple theft for money and realizes he cannot allow anything to
happen to Ginny so he is right by her side to fight the enemy she is up
against.
This book is a great romp. Ginny is feisty and Theo getting
all growly and possessive. It all got too much one night so they decided to put
to one side their differences and giving in to the very hot attraction they
feel for one another.

tangled in her hair, his other hand kneading her nipple. Yeah. His Ginny liked
a little bite with her pleasure. He'd known she'd like this. Sexy, hot, and responsive.”
Lots going on in this fantastic book which will capture the
imagination. Making this a real page turner. You never let us readers down Ms
Zanetti. This reader salutes you for an extraordinary series.
